Minerva, the name of the Rotary District Seminar RY 2025-26 is a brilliant choice !
In Greek mythology Minerva is the Goddess of magic and has the absolute control and divine power for creating miracles.....
Minerva relates to mind, intellect, and understanding.
She represents wisdom, strategic thinking and pursuit of knowledge for the welfare of the society....
As a Rotarian, I feel Minerva's core attributes provide the foundation for the ethical standards of the Rotary Four -Way Test.
Is it Truth?
Minerva's emphasis on intellect and foresight that encourages honesty, transparency, and verification.
Is it fair to all concerned?
Minerva is impartial and unbiased and encourages equity.
Will it build Good Will and better Friendship ?
Minerva nurtures fellow-feeling and values human relationships....
4. Will it be Beneficial to all concerned ?
Minerva looks after the well being and fosters inclusivity...
I was fortunate to be a part of this great event with much enthusiasm and excitement ....
Grateful to Rotary !

RCB Eco organised an Educational Awareness Program in Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya, Khordha on 8th August, 2026.
Rtn. Dr. Geetika Patnaik of RCB Eco was the Chief speaker and Mentor of this program.
The main purpose of this program is to explain the importance of "Mindfulness", the practice of purposely bringing one's attention to the present moment without distraction. Dr. Patnaik highlighted the various positive impacts of mindfulness and how it is the key to academic excellence, enhanced self-confidence, strong positive mindset and high resilience.
"Present moment" is the only time over which we have control. Benefits of mindfulness practice include reduction of stress, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain.
Let us cultivate the art of staying aware of what is happening right now, what we are thinking about this very moment, and how we are feeling at present by focusing on "Mindfulness", the connecting bridge between the mind and the present moment !
The NIST University, Berhampur, Odisha invited me to address the newly admitted students in the Science, Technology, and Management Streams on 12th August,2026.
Since it is the beginning of a new chapter in life, there is a mixed feelings of anxiety and ecstasy, fear and excitement, and depression and delight in the students' minds....
This lecture and interactive session was meant to create awareness of such dichotomous feelings.
Students were enlightened about the importance of Mental Wellness and how it equips them to handle such feelings with ease and confidence. Students were advised to raise their resilience to bounce back in adverse situations and adopt different coping styles to manage stress.
Proper mind-set and Mental Wellness help navigate the academic journey in a smooth and progressive manner.
